Quick Time VR tour of Pompeii, Italy
This project,
begun by Francesca Tronchin and Diego Bonilla
in June 2002, will
consist of more than 500 QTVR panoramas, linked in order to create a virtual
walk through the site of Pompeii in Southern Italy and a visual index to the
archaeology of the site. The project is still in its early stages. Soon, all
the panoramas will be built, linked, detail photographs will be added and an
accompanying text in both Italian and English will be written by Francesca. All
programming and design will be undertaken by Diego.
